Coach Samuel Boadu charged for verbally abusing match officials during Berekum Chelsea vs Bechem Utd game

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has charged Berekum Chelsea head coach Samuel Boadu over an incident that happened when his team drew 1-1 with Bechem United.

In a Ghana Premier League game played over the past weekend, the gaffer is alleged to have verbally abused the match officials.

“Berekum Chelsea’s head coach, Samuel Boadu has been charged with breach of Section 12(1) (i) of the GFA Disciplinary Code, 2019, following Berekum Chelsea’s Ghana Premier League game against Bechem United.

“It is alleged that he verbally abused the match officials of the said game,” parts of a notice from the Ghana FA said.

In the notice on Twitter, the football association said Berekum Chelsea Coach Samuel Boadu has until Thursday 28 March 2024 to respond to the charges.
