According to the research, many women in relationships today keep backup options as a form of emotional security. They believe it is a preventive measure that helps them quickly move on should their current relationship fail.
The study further revealed that at least 70% of women who are currently in committed relationships have someone else in mind or maintain contact with another potential partner.
