Akurase Mpuntuo Scholarship Program 2024/2025

The Akurase Mpuntuo foundation which was established primarily to help elevate residents of rural communities through education and training programs is offering scholarships for the 2024/2025 academic year.
This program is being funded by Butterfly Foundation for Girls.
They believe that sustainable development cannot be achieved by leaving rural dwellers behind.
Benefits
- It exclusively covers tuition fees.
- Beneficiaries will receive continued support through their Akurase Mpuntuo Mentorship Program.
- They will have an opportunity to participate in community service.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a female.
- Be resident in any rural community in Ghana.
- Must be admitted into an undergraduate program in a public university in Ghana.
- For continuing students, she should have a GPA of 3.O or better, or a CWA of 60 or better.
- Demonstrate leadership potential.
- Must be ready to go back to empower other young girls in respective communities.

- Application Period: 7 – 31 October 2024
- Selection of applicants: 1 – 6 November 2024
- Interview: 9 – 13 November 2024
- Announcement of unsuccessful: 18 November 2024
- Follow ups and background checks: 14 – 18 November 2024
- Announcing successful applicants: 19 November 2024
- Acceptance Form: 20 – 30 November 2024
- Submission of fees for confirmation: December 2024
