US authorities have detailed the extensive multi-agency effort that led to the arrest of 31-year-old Frederick Kumi, also known as Abu Trica.

Kumi is accused of masterminding an $8 million romance fraud scheme that targeted elderly Americans.
His arrest on December 11 was described as one of the most coordinated cross-border law enforcement operations in recent years. Several Ghanaian institutions took part in apprehending him, including:
