Shocking twist in NPP race: Agyepong’s own campaign chief dumps him

Kwabena Agyepong’s campaign manager, Ofosu Asamoah, has declared his support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the NPP primaries, describing him as the candidate most capable of uniting the party and leading it to victory in 2028.

“I am still the same Ofosu Asamoah you know. My connection with Dr. Bawumia and his team isn’t new; I simply chose not to back him earlier this year. But sometimes in life, you recognize that a change is necessary.”

“Having observed the campaign closely as Kwabena Agyapong’s manager, I feel things haven’t gone as planned. That’s why I am now joining Dr. Bawumia’s team, whom I believe is destined to be the next president,” he told party supporters during a campaign event with Dr. Bawumia after declaring his support.
