A student of Presec was kidnapped when he was on his way home for the Easter break.
The 17-year-old student was on his way home to Obuasi on Thursday, March 28, 2024, when he was kidnapped.
The kidnappers are demanding 34 million Naira (approximately Gh 340,000).
According to reports, the family has paid Gh 20,000 but the kidnappers have refused to release the boy unless an extra 300,000 cedis is paid in full.
The family is pleading with the government and the Ghana Police to speed up the process of securing the boy and help bring their son home safely.
