Bawumia Must Win (BMW), a coalition of New Patriotic Party Youth Groups supporting Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s presidential ambitions, has dismissed allegations of wrongdoing in the mobilization of vehicles for campaigning for the Vice President.
Photographs of pickup trucks emblazoned with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign images have gone viral on social media, and they are said to have been purchased in large quantities with state funds.
The claims debunked by the NPP’s pro-Bawumia wing allegedly came from members of the National Democratic Congress, including some members of parliament.
According to a statement signed by the group’s leadership, the vehicles were donated by private individuals who support Dr Bawumia’s presidential ambitions.
