Chelsea face tough sell to 16 year old prodigy already getting Serie A minutes

Chelsea’s rush to sign teenage talent has slowed a little simply because they filled their books up with teenagers so rapidly during the first two years of this ownership’s time in charge.

But just because things have slowed down a little on that front doesn’t mean we’re not still lying in wait for the right opportunity to come up. Sources in Italy are today claiming we’ve got our eyes on one of the nations best under 17 players, Francesco Camarda.

The AC Milan star has an incredible future ahead, and given how young he is and how comfortable he will feel developing in his home town of Milan with his boyhood club, any move will be a tough sell. He’s already starting to get first team minutes here and there for the Rossoneri – can we realistically offer him that here?

Post-Brexit rules make poaching players before they’re 18 significantly harder, and any deal would likely involve a loan back for two years. Arsenal and Manchester City are also linked to the talent.
