Thank you all – Bawumia thanks campaign team, MPs

Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed appreciation to his campaign team, parliamentary supporters, and party executives after his strong showing in the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primaries held on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Speaking at his campaign collation centre ahead of the Electoral Commission’s official declaration of results, Dr Bawumia said his success was the result of teamwork.

“You’re only as good as your team in these matters. And I can say without any fear of contradiction that I have been blessed with an excellent team,” he said.

He also acknowledged the role played by his national campaign coordinators in the exercise.

“The campaign team, in general, everybody has contributed so much, and I cannot really thank everybody individually at the moment, but I will have time to thank everybody individually,” he added.

Dr Bawumia gave special recognition to Members of Parliament who supported his bid, describing their contribution as “phenomenal.”

“The MPs, I must say, who have stood by my side have been phenomenal in this contest. They’ve really supported, and they’ve delivered what they promised to do. I want to thank all the members of parliament who supported me,” he noted…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
