The NPP faithful, are singing praises to the NDC government – Asiedu Nketiah

The National Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has warned that the military could take over the country if the Mahama-led NDC administration repeats what he described as poor governance and corruption under the previous government and ends up failing Ghanaians.

According to Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, the NDC government represents the last hope of the people, and any attempt to copy the “create, loot and share” culture, the “yentie obiara” syndrome, family and friends, “yenky3 ndi” attitude, and ultimately fail Ghanaians could push the military to remove all politicians from power, including those from the NDC, NPP, and other parties, if they conclude that politicians have failed the country.

He made these remarks while addressing NDC supporters at the Sefwi Bekwai Locost Pentecost Church in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region during his two-day Thank You Tour of the region.

“To avoid this military takeover, that’s why President Mahama has laid down a solid plan to reduce economic hardship for Ghanaians, and now, most Ghanaians are singing praises to the NDC government, describing the government as ‘Aban papa aba’,” Asiedu Nketiah told the gathering.

“So if you are an NDC supporter, be proud of yourself since with no time, you will reap what you sowed in the NDC. Don’t be pushed by NPP supporters to put pressure on your own government and say I have not seen anything, while even our opponents, the NPP faithful, are singing praises to the government,” he said.

He further disclosed that due to what he described as rot in the NPP administration, he knew of some committed NPP members who secretly joined the NDC to campaign against their own party in the 2024 elections.

He added that even when the NPP was in power and, in his view, mismanaging the economy and subjecting Ghanaians to severe hardship with their “y3ntie obiara attitude,” they were still confidently moving around the country telling people they were going to “Beak the 8.” He questioned why NDC supporters should not feel proud when their government is performing better in its first year and Ghanaians are praising it as “Aban papa Aba.”…CONTINUE MORE READING>>>
