Trial resumes for former PPA boss – OSP
The trial of former Chief Executive of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), Adjenim Boateng Adjei, has resumed at the Criminal Division of the High Court in Accra.

Adjei is facing eight charges, including using public office for profit and influencing the procurement process for personal gain.
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) confirmed the development in a post on its official X page on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
“Trial resumes for former PPA boss. OSP’s witness from CHRAJ is testifying today. Case was adjourned to today before the legal break,” the post stated.
The charges are based on claims that Adjei abused his position as head of the PPA between March 2017 and August 2019 by manipulating contract awards for his own benefit.
In 2024, the OSP filed similar charges against him over his alleged involvement with Talent Discovery Limited (TDL), a company said to have been used to secure government contracts.
These allegations were first brought to light in 2019 through the documentary “Contracts for Sale,” which resulted in his dismissal by former President Nana Akufo-Addo following recommendations from the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ).
