The Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper has described some Electoral Commission (EC) officials’ homes as war zones.
“The work of the Electoral Commission is not easy…and as a result, some of the Commissioners have military bodyguards, to the point where their homes resemble war zones. It indicates that their work is challenging,” he said in an interview DailyNewsGhana monitored.
He made this comment on Peace FM’s morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ in response to the challenges that the Commission faced during the District Assembly Elections.
