Rory Jennings has long ago planted his flag – the Clearlake ownership is the “worst thing to happen to Chelsea” in ages (maybe ever), and he’s gone on TalkSport again today to make his thoughts clear.
He pointed out that we haven’t gone two years without winning silverware since before Roman Abramovich came to the club – the first two years of Clearlake ownership would break that run, assuming we don’t win the FA Cup.
There’s also “never been a greater disparity between supporters and the board,” something which is also hard to argue, and is evident from the negative chants we now hear every week. Their promises of not raising prices drastically also have already been broken.
