VIDEO: Two times Mahama’s ADC stopped him to observe the National Anthem
President John Dramani Mahama was twice reminded by his Aide-de-Camp, Abdul Wahab Issah, to observe the national anthem during a recent public event.

Videos from the programme show the President continuing with activities and greeting people when his personal security officer quietly stepped in to alert him to stand for the anthem.
On both occasions, the ADC’s prompt reminders ensured that President Mahama followed the required ceremonial protocol.
In the videos circulating on social media, the President is seen responding immediately to the cues and standing respectfully as the national anthem was played.
The national anthem is a key symbol of Ghana’s unity and sovereignty, and its observance at official functions is compulsory for all state officials.
