Carney Chukwuemeka was the man of the moment for Chelsea yesterday, scoring the goal to put us 3-2 up as extra time loomed.
He was on cloud 9 after the game, with a huge smile as he was interviewed post match and a tremble in his voice. His goal has his team headed to Wembley for the second time this season, and the midfielder insisted that this was because Chelsea are “on the rise.”
“We’re on the up, we’re showing our quality now, individually, all of us… Wembley is another big opportunity for us.”
With Carney fit and firing, anything is possible.
