WATCH: Camera captures NPP sharing rice, cloth to win Kumawu by-election

The ruling NPP was caught on camera engaging in vote buying in Sekyere Kumawu ahead of their by-election.
Following the death of Hon. Philip Basoah, the people of Kumawu constituency in Ghana’s Ashanti Region will go to the polls on May 23, 2023, to elect a new member of parliament.
The NPP has chosen Ernest Anim to run for the seat, while the NDC has chosen Kwasi Awankwaa as their candidate.
Kwaku Duah, a former NPP member who ran as an independent in 2020 and received over 10,000 votes, is running again.
To avoid losing its stronghold, the NPP is doing everything it can to get people to vote for them.
