Appiah Stadium has stirred reactions online after mocking Wontumi TV presenter Akyenkwaa Nana Kofi Asare.
Nana Kofi Asare was arrested on Thursday, August 14, 2025, reportedly by suspected national security operatives.
His arrest followed claims he made on air linking President John Mahama to the August 6 military helicopter crash that killed eight people.
The comments, made during a period of national mourning, drew strong backlash. After appearing before the Accra Circuit Court, Nana Kofi Asare sparked further online chatter when he boldly described himself as a “hero” while being escorted away by security officers.
In a video shared on Instagram and later reposted on TikTok by Appiah Stadium, the popular NDC activist recreated Asare’s arrest in a mocking fashion.
