We should discipline Akufo-Addo for poor governance – NPP’s Arthur Kennedy

Veteran politician and founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Arthur Kennedy, has called on the party to apply discipline to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, saying internal accountability should cover even the highest levels of leadership.

According to him, the NPP cannot genuinely enforce discipline among its members while ignoring what he describes as poor governance outcomes under the Akufo-Addo administration, including economic hardship, corruption concerns, and loss of public trust.

“You cannot discipline selectively,” he said in an interview with Channel One TV’s Big Issue, stressing that accountability should not exclude senior figures or former presidents.
