Ghanaian media personality Okatakyei Afrifa-Mensah has criticised former Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, following reports of his detention by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

“The fact that you have refused to come and answer questions goes a long way to spoil the image of the NPP. It makes it look like all members of the party are thieves. We warned you while you were doing it. What sort of disgusting behaviour is that?” he stated.
He also urged Ken Ofori-Atta to make himself available to Ghanaian authorities for questioning, saying this would help rebuild confidence and trust in the party.
