You are fake – Maurice Ampaw drags Ken Agyapong to the gutters

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has described Mr. Kennedy Agyapong as a man lacking principles, accusing him of faking support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia during the 2024 elections.

Speaking on Wontumi TV last Sunday, monitored by DailyNewsGhana, Ampaw expressed disappointment over Kennedy Agyapong‘s renewed ambition to challenge Dr. Bawumia for the New Patriotic Party‘s (NPP) 2028 flagbearership, despite previously backing him.

“Make politics attractive a bit. Sometimes, politicians make it easier for us to see that they are fake. So all this while that Kennedy Agyapong was following Bawumia, he was praying for his downfall so that he takes over?” Ampaw quizzed.

He questioned Kennedy Agyapong’s sincerity, pointing to his visible involvement in Bawumia’s 2024 campaign and public endorsements.

“What kind of personality is this? You are not being principled. If you don’t believe in him, why did you join his campaign?” Ampaw asked, adding that such inconsistencies damage public trust in political leadership.

He further advised Kennedy Agyapong to put his presidential ambitions aside and rather support Dr. Bawumia in the party’s bid to win the 2028 elections.
