36-yr-old farmer allegedly poisoned his friend after he won Ghc100,000 lotto
A 36-year-old man named Kusi Ernest has sadly lost his life after allegedly being poisoned by his friend.
The incident happened at Bibianeha in Drobo, located in the Jaman South Municipality of the Bono Region, and has left many residents shocked due to the unusual circumstances surrounding his death.
Reporting on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Nana Kwame said Kusi Ernest was allegedly poisoned by his friend after the two staked lotto numbers and both won.
According to the report, Kusi Ernest won GH¢100,000, while his friend only won GH¢5,000.
Nana Kwame explained that the suspect was upset that Kusi did not convince him to stake more money, especially since Kusi was confident the numbers would be selected.
He revealed that the poisoning took place at a drinking spot where the two had gone to celebrate their winnings.
Nana Kwame added that three other people also supported the plan to poison Kusi Ernest.
Meanwhile, the deceased has since been buried. During the funeral, the grieving family invoked curses on those believed to have caused his death.
They prayed that Kusi would avenge his death one month after the burial.
