The Chelsea players closest to the red zone as season enters the final phase

Chelsea are into the final stretch of the season now. There are eleven league games left, plus likely just one in the FA Cup, where we face Man City.

That means Mauricio Pochettino can really start to take the handbrake off in terms of resting and rotation. Of course after the international break he will have to assess who is tired and who has played the most, but after that it’s a pretty steady run to the end of the season, with only a couple of two-game weeks left.

Axel Disasi has played the most minutes in the squad, but given that’s largely at centre-back, he doesn’t feel like he’s on the edge. Next come Conor Gallagher and Moises Caicedo. Both of them are all-action, and will certainly be exerting themselves internationally too.

Then Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez, who have played a chunk of minutes fewer but have still seen a lot of action. Beyond them there’s a drop off, and nobody apart from perhaps NIcolas Jackson should need any major breaks.
