Bawumia is favorite of 2024 election – NPP General Secretary

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has disclosed that the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, stands tall in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

“Our candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been the greatest Vice President this country has ever had, and the records are there from 1992,” he emphasized.

According to him, the Vice President has implemented various interventions and policies that have helped develop the country, reiterating that no Vice President can be compared to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

He called on Ghanaians to vote for a President who will be accountable to them and not a one-term President.

“Should Dr Bawumia become President, he would have another term to come back to the people to seek reelection but the same cannot be said about Mr. Mahama who is coming for just 4 years, so we cannot put our destiny into his hands,” he argued

Addressing party supporters at the 30th Anniversary of NPP-USA in Alexandria, Mr. Kodua urged them to be serious in the campaign towards the 2024 elections to guarantee the party to break the 8.

“We can only break the 8 when we show seriousness in the election and just as you have been during, the party will rely on our diaspora branches particularly the United States to ensure that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia elected President to help develop the country.” He urged

He indicated that the NPP cannot hand over power to the NDC for the sake of Ghanaians.

“We need to win this election for the sake of our dear country Ghana because Ghanaians have only one choice and that choice is the NPP.” He stressed.
