Watch: 16 year old Chelsea star pictured in club where teammates were seen “throwing cash at a stripper”
Kendry Paez really is precocious. Still just 16 years old, he’s already become embroiled in his first scandal as a football player.
The wonderkid was pictured in a strip club in New York in the last 48 hours, following his appearance for Ecuador in a win over Guatemala in a friendly.
Now the Ecuadorian football federation are threatening to kick several senior members of the squad out for their bad influence on the youngster. The Daily Mail report that players around him were “throwing cash at a stripper” as they partied following their win.
Of course given this all happened in the USA, this is even more serious – nobody under 21 should have been in the venue.

£115m Chelsea star Moises Caicedo was also in the group who went to the TAO restaurant in the city. A statement from the Ecuadorian FA has said that the images go against their “value and principles.”
