Don’t blame me or First Lady for School feeding contracts – Hanna Bisiw

The National Women’s Organiser of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Hanna Louisa Bisiw-Kotei, has urged all dissatisfied party supporters to remain calm over delays in the awarding of school feeding contracts.

Addressing a gathering of women and party faithful in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, Dr. Bisiw-Kotei assured them that the government does not intend to hand the contracts to outsiders.

She acknowledged that some NDC women have expressed frustration towards her over the contracts not being shared among party members.

“I want all those who have been blaming me and the First Lady in various press conferences to know from today that neither I nor the First Lady (Lordina Mahama) is the one awarding those contracts,” she stated emphatically.

Dr. Bisiw-Kotei also highlighted the crucial role party supporters played in the NDC’s victory in the 2024 general elections.

She gave the assurance that those loyal supporters would be given preference when the school feeding contracts are eventually distributed.
