Ghanaian lady receives 100 lashes in Saudi Arabia for sleeping with a man

A young Ghanaian woman living in Saudi Arabia has reportedly been subjected to a brutal public punishment after being caught in bed with a man.

According to a viral video making rounds on social media, the incident was handled by Ghanaian traditional leaders within the local community in Saudi Arabia. The woman was caught engaging in a sexual act with a Sudanese man, and the reaction was swift and harsh.

Eyewitnesses say the young lady received slaps and several lashes with a belt before being given 100 strokes of the cane by a man identified as an Alhaji—one of the respected leaders in the community.

In the video, some of the leaders were heard expressing disappointment, claiming that many Ghanaians living in Saudi Arabia bring shame to the country through what they described as “promiscuous behavior.”

The Sudanese man involved in the act was also reportedly punished, although the specific details of his punishment were not captured in the footage.
