‘Go for the Saudi money’ – Thomas Partey told

Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association and current CAF Media Officer, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has advised Thomas Partey to consider a move to a Saudi Arabian club following the end of his time at Arsenal.

Partey, 32, has officially parted ways with the English side after both parties failed to reach a new contract agreement. Now a free agent, the midfielder is exploring his next move.

Speaking to 3Sports, Sannie Daara suggested that at this stage in Partey’s career, financial security should be a top priority.

“My advise to him is that, at his age, he should look at what he will spend from now until the rest of his life,” he said. “The money from Saudi Arabia is tempting, I think he should go for the Saudi money, it will help him.”

Reports indicate that Partey has received interest from several European clubs, including Barcelona and Galatasaray, alongside offers from teams in the Saudi Pro League.
