A heartbroken young woman has shared her painful experience of being used and dumped by a man she believed was truly into her.

According to her, she had been dating this new guy for just about a week when she decided to pay him a visit. When she got to his place, she met a group of his friends in his room watching a football match. He introduced her to them, and she settled in, thinking nothing of it.

At some point during her visit, her boyfriend went to his wardrobe, brought out a jacket, and asked his friends for their opinion. She recalled how all his friends laughed and told him the jacket was ugly and that he should get rid of it. But he responded by saying he would wear it just once and then throw it away.

At the time, she didn’t think much of the exchange and assumed they were simply talking about an actual piece of clothing. Later that evening, after his friends had left, she spent the night with him. According to her, the night was special—he was sweet, affectionate, and everything she thought she wanted in a man.

She left his house the following morning feeling happy and hopeful about the future of their relationship. But as soon as she got home, things took a sharp turn. She tried calling him, only to discover that she had been blocked on all platforms—calls, messages, and social media. He had completely cut her off.

It wasn’t until later that it hit her—she was the “jacket” he and his friends had been referring to. The moment she had thought was just a light joke about clothing turned out to be a coded way of mocking her presence. The man had planned to be with her just once and then discard her, just like he said he would do with the jacket.

Her story has since sparked a lot of reactions online, with many people sympathizing with her and others criticizing the man for his disrespectful behaviour.
