JUST IN: Kantanka’s family makes shocking confirmation about his age

The family of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo, popularly known as Kantanka, has clarified his actual age, stating that he was 113 years old at the time of his death.

In a statement released on the official Facebook page of Kantanka Television on Friday, September 19, the family dismissed earlier reports with conflicting birth dates and urged the public to ignore them.

“26th August, 1912, is the official birthdate of the Star of Africa, Emeritus Prof. Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka. Kindly disregard other dates in circulation,” the statement said.

Initial reports and tributes following Apostle Kantanka’s passing on September 11, 2025, indicated his birthdate as August 26, 1948, which would have made him 77 years old at the time of his death.
