Oh God! – Ghanaian woman shares harrowing situation in Israel

A Ghanaian woman residing in Israel has shared a terrifying firsthand account of the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, shedding light on the fear and chaos currently gripping civilians.

In a viral video circulating on social media, the unidentified woman emotionally described how she was forced to rush into a bomb shelter as explosions echoed through her neighborhood.

“The bombs have started exploding, it is not easy at all. It is very scary; I urge [everyone] to be extremely cautious. Let’s remain vigilant from today until Sunday,” she said.

The woman, speaking in a shaky voice, filmed herself inside a lift as she hurried toward a bomb shelter, adding, “I’m in a lift on my way to the bomb shelter, every house in Israel has one. We cannot even sleep in the afternoon because of the explosions.”

Her account follows a wave of missile and drone strikes exchanged between Iran and Israel. The latest reports indicate that Israel targeted Iran’s largest nuclear facility in an airstrike on Saturday, June 21, 2025—a move that has heightened fears of a wider regional conflict.

Sirens have reportedly gone off across major Israeli cities, sparking panic and sending residents scrambling for cover. The situation remains tense, with many foreign nationals, including Ghanaians living in Israel, expressing fear for their safety.

The Ghanaian woman’s story has sparked concern online, with many social media users calling for prayers and support for Ghanaians and all civilians caught in the crossfire.
