Rare photos of Yaa Baby, the girl who was shot dead by her boyfriend

Ghanaians are mourning the tragic death of Yaa Baby, a beautiful young woman who lost her life in Yeji under heartbreaking circumstances.

Reports indicate that Yaa Baby was accidentally shot by her boyfriend, popularly known on TikTok as GH Kobby.

According to a news bulletin aired on Adom FM, GH Kobby was not alone during the unfortunate visit. He was accompanied by two other young men, and the group travelled with Yaa Baby in an unregistered vehicle. The trip appeared to be a casual one, as one of the young men had previously done his national service in Yeji.

The group reportedly visited a house where the said gentleman had once lived during his service period. They were warmly welcomed by the residents and even offered food.

However, events took a dark turn when one of the young men allegedly returned to their car and brought out a firearm.

According to the report, the weapon was openly loaded in front of witnesses. Before anyone could react or understand what was happening, a gunshot rang out, fatally wounding Yaa Baby.

News of the shooting spread rapidly across the town. Local youth quickly informed others in nearby communities, especially when it became clear that the trio might be trying to escape.

The suspects were eventually apprehended by the townspeople. Chaos erupted, with some residents suspecting the incident was linked to a failed money ritual attempt.

Reports suggest the suspects were beaten by the angry mob until police arrived to rescue GH Kobby and his two companions.
