Serwaa Broni resurfaces causes stir in new video
Popular social media personality and known “slay queen,” Serwaa Broni, resurfaces again in a new video after the sudden death of veteran Highlife musician Dada Kwakye Duah, popularly known as Dada KD.
Following the sad news, Serwaa Broni has shared her thoughts on the matter, and she’s not holding back. In her reaction, she pointed fingers at legendary Highlife artist Daddy Lumba, saying it’s strange how his name keeps coming up when certain musicians pass away.
Serwaa Broni didn’t mention any wrongdoing, but she suggested it’s “creepy” that Daddy Lumba’s name has once again been mentioned after Dada KD’s passing.
She was reacting to an old video of Dada KD talking about his issues with Daddy Lumba. In that video, Dada KD opened up about a past controversy involving the two musicians.
Serwaa Broni pointed out that several Ghanaian musicians who have worked with Daddy Lumba seem to have had problems with him—and sadly, some of those musicians are no longer alive.
She noted how strange it is that people keep bringing up Lumba’s name after such deaths.
She said in a video, “Lumba, Kwadwo Fosu, it appears all the musicians who have worked with you do not give positive reviews about you. And somehow you always get dragged after their death.”

In one of those recordings, Dada KD shared that he unknowingly got into a relationship with a woman who used to date Daddy Lumba. He revealed that he even had two children with her.
According to Dada KD, neither the woman nor Lumba told him about their past relationship. He later found out that the two had dated for 10 years before breaking up. By the time he learned the full story, it was already too late to change anything.
Although there is no official statement connecting Daddy Lumba to Dada KD’s death, the controversy surrounding their past and Serwaa Broni’s comments have added fuel to the online conversations.
As the public continues to mourn Dada KD, it seems this new twist involving Serwaa Broni and Daddy Lumba has given the story a whole new direction.
