She is seriously sick – Angela Okorie opens up Mercy Johnson’s health

Popular Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has revealed that fellow actress Mercy Johnson is battling a serious illness and announced that she has decided to forgive her despite their past issues.

Speaking during a recent Instagram Live session, Angela said the nature of Mercy’s illness is severe — one she wouldn’t even wish on her enemies.

“I got news recently that Mercy Johnson is not feeling well, and I honestly feel for her and want the best for her,” Angela said. “The kind of sickness they told me about is not something I will ever wish on my enemies. Today, I have forgiven her and will no longer say anything that has to do with her.”

Angela, who had previously spoken openly about her fallout with Mercy, said her decision to forgive came after advice from her spiritual father.

She also urged Mercy to apologise to those she may have wronged, rather than just using religious phrases without genuine change.

“The truth is that I have forgiven her, but she should go and apologise to people she has offended,” she said. “Apologising is better than quoting church words you don’t live by. Mercy did a lot in the industry, and today I am forgiving her.”

Angela concluded by saying that although she won’t share the full story, she still believes Mercy must take responsibility for her past actions.

“From the depths of my soul, I have forgiven her. People don’t need to know the issue, but if I say Mercy is evil, she is evil — but I have forgiven her,” she said.
