Former Black Stars defender Samuel Inkoom has revealed that a team in the United States is interested in signing Black Princesses striker Mukarama Abdulai.
This comes on the back of the Hasaacas Ladies striker’s impressive outing at the 2023 African Games where she scored three goals, the last being the goal that won Ghana the title against Nigeria in the final.
“There’s one striker (Mukarama) that I’m chasing to sign her in my agency. I’ve already started talking.
“I’ve been chasing her because there’s one team in US wants her, and they contacted me and I have to make it happen.
“So, yeah, I’m trying to talk to her and we can we can allow her to also get the platform that she needs.”
Despite initial challenges and criticism, Mukarama showcased resilience, contributing crucial goals in the semifinals against Senegal and the title-clinching strike against Nigeria.
Injuries have stalled her progress after her exploits at the 2018 U17 World Cup that won her the Golden Boot, seeing moves to Spain and the USA being unsuccessful.
