VIDEO: “I’m still mad for voting for Akufo-Addo” – Market woman

A Ghanaian woman has thrown subtle jabs at former President Akufo-Addo while expressing joy over the current drop in food prices.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the woman compared past and present prices of some food items and questioned why she would ever vote for Akufo-Addo again, given the hardship she experienced during his tenure.

“This oil used to be sold for GH¢20, but today, I bought it for GH¢14. Am I mad to go and vote for Akufo-Addo?” she said passionately.

Pointing to another item, she added, “This onion, before GH¢20, now GH¢10. Isn’t it cheap?”
