VIDEO: Where is he? – NPP asked to produce Ken Ofori-Atta
Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga has criticised Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin for failing to bring former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta to Parliament as promised.
Speaking in Parliament on June 3, 2025, Ayariga asked, “You said Ken Ofori-Atta would come in May. We are now in June. Where is he?”
He further accused Afenyo-Markin of not keeping his word in the House.
“Maybe we shouldn’t take his promises seriously anymore. He doesn’t fulfil them but expects others to do so,” Ayariga said.
This comes after Ofori-Atta did not return to Ghana to face the Special Prosecutor over corruption claims, including a controversial ambulance contract, SML, and a GRA deal.
