Watch actress reaction after learning her HIV-Positive Nanny breastfed her son

KENYA – Kenyan actress and media personality Jacky Nyaminde, better known as Wilbroda, has shocked many after revealing a painful story from her past.

The former Papa Shirandula actress shared how she discovered that her nanny was secretly breastfeeding her son even though the nanny was HIV positive.

Speaking on the Mic Cheque Podcast, Wilbroda explained that the incident happened years ago when her son was still young. At the time, she was working in Mombasa and was not aware of what was happening back at home.

She recalled first hearing about it through a phone call, but she did not believe the information at once. Later, she was summoned by the late actor Charles Bukeko, popularly known as Papa Shirandula, and his wife. They broke the heartbreaking news to her and also revealed that the nanny was HIV positive.

“My heart just dropped,” Wilbroda said, describing the fear and shock she felt upon learning the truth.

That very night, she rushed her son to the hospital together with her sister to have him tested for HIV. She explained that she was too emotional to take him to the lab herself, so her sister stepped in.

“I was crying, praying, and hoping for the best,” she recalled. Luckily, the results showed that her son was HIV negative, bringing her immense relief.

The following day, Wilbroda decided to fire the nanny immediately. However, she chose not to take legal action against her. She explained that the nanny’s intentions were not evil but were meant to comfort the baby whenever he cried.
