Watch as Nana Agradaa taunts Empress Gifty as they clash in court

Gospel musician Empress Gifty and Evangelist Nana Agradaa clashed at the Tema High Court on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, over a GH¢20 million defamation suit filed by Empress Gifty.

In a video sighted by DailyNewsGhana, Prophetess Nana Agradaa was accompanied to the court by her husband, Angel Asiamah.

Upon arrival, she loudly repeated Empress Gifty’s own catchphrases, which she has been using since their feud began. “Noko fine, noko tantaliser,” she said mockingly. Empress Gifty, on the other hand, appeared more reserved and arrived at the court with her husband, Hopeson Adorye.

The lawsuit arises from accusations by Nana Agradaa, who alleged that Empress Gifty had affairs with pastors and other men to fund her lifestyle.

Nana Agradaa showed up in all-white attire, a symbol of victory in Ghanaian culture, accompanied by her husband, Angel Asiamah. She appeared defiant and mocked Empress Gifty by shouting her popular phrases, “Noko fine, noko tantaliser.” Empress Gifty arrived quietly with her husband, Hopeson Adorye.

The conflict between the two intensified after Nana Agradaa made insulting remarks about Empress Gifty online. Empress Gifty is seeking GH¢20 million in damages, a perpetual injunction to stop further defamation, and an order for Nana Agradaa to delete all defamatory posts from her social media accounts.

The hearing was postponed because Nana Agradaa’s lawyer was absent. The case has been adjourned to June 26, 2025.
