Alade Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, has shared her regret over past controversial comments she made about fellow entertainers Fella Makafui and Wendy Shay.

In an interview with Zionfelix on the “Uncut Show” in January 2025, Akuapem Poloo admitted that her disrespectful remarks had damaged her relationships with the two celebrities.

“Even though my relationship with them was cordial, some things I said to disgrace and disrespect them have spoiled our relationship,” she said.

She expressed sadness over the fact that the fallout from her words has made it difficult to maintain the bond she once shared with Fella and Wendy.

“I can’t pick up the phone and call them like I used to because the relationship is gone,” she added.

The actress reflected that her previous statements, which she now views as inappropriate, have come back to affect her negatively and disrupted connections with people she once admired.

She noted with regret that she used to call them for help or receive calls from them when they needed her support, but that is no longer the case.
