Social media is buzzing after reports emerged that popular Ghanaian TikToker, GhKobby, has allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend, known as YaaBaby, under suspicious circumstances.

The tragic incident is said to have occurred on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in a suburb of Yeji.

According to a report on Adom FM, GhKobby was accompanied by two other young men and was traveling with YaaBaby in an unregistered car.

The group reportedly arrived in Yeji on what appeared to be a casual visit. One of the young men had previously completed his national service in the area.

They visited a house where the said man had stayed during his service and were warmly welcomed and served food.

However, events took a dark turn when one of the young men allegedly returned to their vehicle to retrieve a firearm.

According to the account, the gun was openly loaded in the presence of others, and before anyone could react, a shot was fired, fatally hitting YaaBaby.

News of the shooting spread quickly, prompting local youth to alert others in nearby communities, especially when the group appeared to be fleeing.

The suspects were eventually apprehended by residents, and chaos ensued as the angry crowd, suspecting a possible ritual killing, took matters into their own hands. Reports indicate that some suspects were assaulted before police intervened to rescue GhKobby and the two others.
