WATCH: We are sorry – NPP Youth for Ken begs Owusu Bempah

A group of New Patriotic Party (NPP) members believed to be supporters of former Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong visited Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah at the Glorious Word Power Ministries International on Sunday, June 15, 2025. The visit was to mark Father’s Day and to ask for the preacher’s forgiveness.

The group, known as Youth for Ken, pleaded for peace and reconciliation, saying they needed Rev. Bempah’s spiritual support as the party prepares for the 2028 general elections.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, a spokesperson said, “We are here on behalf of Kennedy Agyapong and the NPP to ask for your forgiveness. Whatever wrong the party may have done, we humbly seek peace and restoration on this Father’s Day.”

Rev. Owusu Bempah, who was once a staunch supporter of the NPP, distanced himself from the party after the 2020 elections, following what he described as betrayal. He later backed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2024 polls.

Despite the past tensions, he warmly received the group and prayed for them, signaling a possible thaw in relations between him and the NPP.
