Watch what a soldier did to a phone repairer over girlfriend’s phone repair delay

A Nigerian soldier has been accused of killing a phone repairer in Mayo-Belwa, Adamawa State, after a dispute over a delayed phone repair for his girlfriend.

According to Sahara Reporters, the soldier, identified as Lance Corporal Ahmada A., allegedly attacked the technician, Alkasum Ibrahim, on Wednesday after the woman complained her phone had not been fixed on time.

Witnesses say the woman had earlier taken her phone to Alkasum’s shop, but there was a delay in the repair for reasons that were not made public. Angry over the delay, she reportedly informed her soldier boyfriend.

Shortly after, the soldier showed up at the shop and physically attacked Alkasum.

Alkasum was left unconscious and later died from the injuries he suffered.

The incident has caused public outrage, with many Nigerians calling for justice and condemning the abuse of power by military personnel against civilians.
