We only know Odo Broni as legal wife – Lawyers of Fosu family
Lawyers for the Fosu Royal Family of Parkoso and Nsuta have stated that Akosua Serwaa, the first wife of the late Daddy Lumba, has no authority to dictate how his funeral should be organised.

This was contained in a letter dated October 1, 2025, and signed by Fati Ali-Yallah of Baba Jamal & Associates, responding to Akosua Serwaa’s concerns about issues relating to the musician’s funeral and estate.
The letter questioned Akosua Serwaa’s status as Daddy Lumba’s wife, stating that the Fosu family recognises Priscilla Ofori, popularly known as Odo Broni, as a wife of the late legend.
It further alleged that Akosua Serwaa abandoned Daddy Lumba during his period of serious illness and refused to return to Ghana to care for him. The letter also claimed she performed customary rites to officially dissolve the marriage.
Addressing matters concerning Daddy Lumba’s estate, the lawyers clarified that all his properties form part of his estate and will be jointly managed by the family and his children to ensure fairness. They also cautioned the public against interfering with any of his properties until all legal procedures are concluded.
