You lost the Primaries because of your Salah meat – Chief taunts MP

A Zongo Chief in the Wasa Amenfi Central Constituency of the Central Region, Alhaji Sule has blamed the failure of the Member of Parliament(MP) Peter Yaw Kwakye-Ackah to retain his seat on his failure to share Salah meat with New Patriotic Party (NPP) Muslims.

According to him, the lawmaker killed four cows during the festive season but rather than share with all Muslims in Manso Amenfi, he decided to be divisive.

Alhaji Sule said Hon. Peter Yaw Kwakye-Ackah selected only Muslims who belong to the NDC as beneficiaries and that is why he has paid dearly with his seat.

“In Islam, we believe in unity. The good book teaches unity in Islam. Since he became MP, he has sown seeds of disunity among us. He brought four cows, killed them and didn’t give us because to him we belong to the NPP. I confronted the leader who was sharing the meat on why they will take that position.

I told him that Allah is against disunity so what he is doing will come back to haunt him. I have information that there is disunity in his family. When he lost, people told me I said it and what I said was affecting him but the truth is it was the word of God,” he said.

Peter Yaw Kwakye-Ackah lost his seat to Joana Gyan Cudjoe, a businesswoman and wife of Keche Andrew, a member of the music group, Keche.

Joana Gyan Cudjoe emerged victorious with 756 votes dethroning the MP, Peter Yaw Kwakye Ackah who followed closely with 575 votes.
