In the Awutu Senya East Municipal District of the Central region of Ghana, a 47-year-old man named Gideon Tetteh has been detained after killing his wife.
According to Benjamin Amuzu of Kessben FM, who was reporting on the station’s breaking news, the pair has long had problems.
He said that the late wife had demanded that she would only have sex with her husband using condoms in order to prevent getting pregnant because of the financial strain of caring for their already five children.
The husband also wanted to sell a piece of land they owned, but the wife refused to agree to it, according to information acquired.
Tensions mounted between the pair and he committed the unthinkable act of killing his wife. Sources say he removed all of her clothing before killing her, completely stripping her naked.
When the crime was reported by nearby residents, the Ofankor Police were notified right away, and they immediately apprehended the suspect before he could flee.
