Can Apple Cider Vinegar With Chia Seeds On Empty Stomach Promote Heart Health? Know From Expert

Do you know that consuming a mixture of chia seeds and apple cider vinegar on an empty stomach is believed to offer numerous healthbenefits, potentially supporting heart health? Acetic acid, present in apple cider vinegar, has been associated with various health benefits, including potential improvements in heart health by reducing blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

Chia seeds, rich in fiber, antioxidants, and omega-3 fatty acids, may also contribute to heart health by reducing inflammation and maintaining cholesterol levels within a healthy range. Consuming this mixture on an empty stomach could stimulate the digestivesystem and enhance nutrient absorption.

In a discussion with Jagran English, Dr. Dilip Gude, a senior consultant physician at Yashoda Hospitals in Hyderabad, explained how apple cider vinegar with chia seeds on an empty stomach may help in clearing blocked heart arteries.

According to Dr. Dilip, apple cider vinegar, with its acetic acid component and documented anti-inflammatory properties in some studies, is believed to reduce vascular plaque burden. Chia seeds, abundant in fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, essential nutrients, and protein, promote satiety, regulate heart function, and support overall heart health. While this combination is thought to lower the risks of heart disease, reduce blood pressure, and alleviate inflammation in general, multiple randomized controlled studies are needed to confirm this hypothesis.

There may also be weight loss benefits associated with this combination, including early satiety due to a favorable soluble to insoluble dietary fiber ratio, neutral sugars, and a mucilaginous structure, resulting in decreased total calorie intake. Improved insulin sensitivity, glycemic response, high antioxidant content, and other benefits are known to reduce the risk of diabetes and improve nervous system disorders.
