Drama occurs at the naming ceremony for a baby boy as two men fight over the mother and the newborn.
The tale goes that after splitting up with Osman, a married father of five children and two wives, Akosua Margarete, the purported mother of the kid, unknowingly became pregnant while in a new relationship with her new partner.
Akosua told Kofi Owusu, her new lover, three months after finding out she was pregnant, that he had agreed to pay her fee, but Akosua’s family disagreed, preferring that she should give birth first. The knocks were then carried out, according to Akosua’s father, by Kofi Owusu.
In response to Osman’s accusations, Akosua claimed that they were dating before Kofi Owusu requested for her hands and that she was pregnant at the time of their relationship.
Since the sign looks to be on Osman’s hand and I didn’t know I was pregnant when I started meeting him with Kofi Owusu, I’ll give him the child, Akosua remarked.
