I am a 27-year-old man who was advised to move in with my uncle in Lower Manya Krobo District, in 2009 because they don’t have kids.
I’m not sure why my uncle’s wife first disliked me, but they had already adopted her sister’s daughter, who is a year and a half older than me.
We both act like brothers and sisters and things became simple for us both, and despite attending the same schools and classes, we share the same attitude about doing chores around the house and other tasks.
Since I was good at math and ICT and she was always good at English, learning became second nature to us. My uncle’s wife also started to appreciate me because we were always helping each other out until SHS, when we switched schools.
My uncle’s wife used to treat us like her own children, buy us stuff, and even pay us visits in school.
In 2014, my uncle developed a serious illness and died; the funeral was held three months later.
She made us a lot of promises in 2015 when we were going to write WASSCE and encouraged us to learn hard in class to pass the test.

My phone broke one day at school, I called her to let her know, and she immediately bought me a new one and has been talking to me on WhatsApp ever since. She keeps telling me that she misses my sister and I and that she feels lonely both at home and in the store.
I told her the same, but after a week, our WhatsApp conversation kept getting deeper, and she kept asking me to snap new pictures and send them to her so she could see how I was looking. This made my girlfriend think I was being spied on, and she began to question why my mother was talking to me sexually in that way.
I informed her that since our father had passed away years earlier, she was always alone and desired our company.
At the end of the month, I went over to the house because of the way she was acting, but that night, something happened and we had sex.

She assisted me in 2021 in starting my own IT company, but she kept reminding me to keep in mind the care she gave me in order to become the person I am today so I should favor her and be making her happy.
