There’s “a chance” that winger leaves Cheslea – but a buyer needs to be found first

Chelsea fans are not happy with the team as it is, that much is pretty much universal.

Different supporters will take issue with different elements, but the big picture is that people want better.

In order to shake things up, sales will need to be made, and one potentially valuable asset which could be moved on is Raheem Sterling.

Transfer insider Dean Jones has today said to TeamTalk there’s “a chance” that the winger leaves this summer, creating a bump of transfer and wage budget for the club to work with.

The winger got 6 goals and picked up 3 assists last season. This time around he’s got 6 of each. It’s not terrible, but it’s not enough to justify his team leading £300,000 a week wage.

There have been vague links to Saudi Arabian clubs, but nothing specific. The hard of all this will be finding someone willing to take Sterling off our hands.
