TV organizers rained insults on me after my girlfriend told them that, I’m only her assistant

My name is Rich. I am staying with a young lady whose family doesn’t care about her well-being, but I have seen a lot of greatness in her. So, I began to make efforts for her to stand out.

I helped her learn soap and hair product making, and we have outlined a business proposal ready to serve bigger institutions and NGOs to help us with the money to start since I don’t have the estimated amount to finance it.

This lady is very respectful and hardworking, and she knows how to manage my resources very well. There’s this beauty pageant on one of the TV stations that she showed interest in after the organizers contacted me to get them a contestant. I refused her initially, but upon her plea and some consultations, I gave in.

I bought items for her for the pageantry, close to GHC5,000, but as they got there, one of the rules states that their phones should be taken from them. I called the organizers to know if there’s something that can be done about that rule because I can’t stay a day without hearing from my woman, even though she was staying with me as we prepare for marriage.

Following that, one of the organizers rained insults on me for asking them to do something about that rule. He went ahead to tell me that the lady said I’m only helping to manage her, but she’s nothing to me.

Her phone was given to her for some short time, and when I asked her, she gave a different explanation for it, though she confirmed it.

Aunty, she’s only two weeks into the house where they are kept, and if I should withdraw my support for her, she’s going to come back home. A lot of people are asking me to stay back, while a few others are also asking me to exercise patience and give her the support until the ten-week period is over.
